Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy informs users of Automobil Deal ("Platform") about the nature, scope and purpose of processing personal data.
It applies in addition to the Terms & Conditions. Swiss data protection law (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR are decisive.
Data controller:
1. Data collected
Inquiry form: first and last name, email, phone, message and optional trade-in details (make, model, year, mileage).
Server logs: IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested page. Kept briefly for technical security.
Browser storage (localStorage): selected language and cookie consent state.
2. Purpose and legal basis
Initiating and handling a vehicle introduction between user and dealer (pre-contractual).
Secure and stable operation of the platform (legitimate interest).
Audience measurement with consent (Google Analytics, see section 6).
3. Transfer to third parties
Inquiry data is forwarded by email to the dealer selected by the user and to the operator.
Hosting is provided via Lovable / Cloudflare. No further transfer to third parties unless legally required.
4. Third-party services
Google Maps Platform (Google Ireland Ltd.): location maps and dealer ratings. Loading may transmit connection data (including IP) to Google.
Firecrawl: used only server-side for the daily price comparison. No user data is transmitted.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.): only with prior consent. Pseudonymous usage statistics to improve the platform.
5. Transfer to third countries
Google partially processes data in the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and corresponding Swiss agreements.
6. Cookies and tracking
Essential: language and consent state in localStorage. No consent required.
Statistics (optional): Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2. Only activated after clicking "Accept all". Can be revoked anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
7. Retention
Inquiry data: until the inquiry is closed and a maximum of 24 months thereafter, unless legal retention applies.
Server logs: 30 days maximum.
Analytics data: per Google settings, max. 14 months.
8. User rights
Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection.
Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
Requests can be sent by email to the address below.
9. Data security
Transmissions are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access is restricted to what is necessary.
